Joy and her team were an absolute dream to work with. I planned our intimate luncheon wedding of 80 people in two months and I was able to focus my attention on other details without having to worry about the florals. From our first consultation with Joy and her team, my mother and I knew that they are true artists and professionals that would be able to execute our ideas effortlessly, and they did! Joy is now my new go-to florist for any occasion!

Joy and her team made my wedding extra special! My bouquet as well as my bridesmaids were beautiful! We have gotten so many compliments on all of our flowers especially the centerpieces! My husband and I cannot thank joy and her team enough! They made our wedding extra special and beautiful! Highly recommend for any occasion!! Thank you all again !!

I have used Joy for the most precious occasions over the years, my baby shower, my sons Baptism & First Birthday, our engagement Party, holidays & for numerous birthday bouquets & everyday arrangements & holidays. I can't express how much you can truly see the love for what she does, it shows in her work and in everything she makes! Im always doing something out of the box for my arrangments and her visions are always right there with me, right on point,,!! The flowers at my parties always seem to be the center of attention from all our guests, The flowers are always so vibrant & fresh they last for weeks! Joy and her team are an absolute pleasure to work with & I can't wait for our next celebration to work with them again.

Joy is an angel! From the moment we met with her it was clear that we wouldn't go with anyone else; she is honest, sweet, thorough and clearly loves what she does. It was a wonderful feeling knowing that we were in good hands and had one less thing to worry about on the big day. The flowers were gorgeous, she delivered everything that was promised, was flexible in meeting our changing requests, and even added a few tasteful touches where they were needed. On top of doing an excellent job, working with her was an absolute pleasure.

Amazing. I was absolutely in love with everything especially my bouquet! Joy understood exactly what I was looking for even when I couldn't completely describe it or show it in pictures. In the two weeks leading up to the wedding I had several changes I wanted to make to my order. Joy made the time to meet with me in between all the May wedding craziness and went through each and every aspect of the order to make sure it was what I wanted. Joy and her team did such a beautiful job!

Joy and her company was just as her name suggests, both joyful and elegant. She made the wedding look special and one of a kind, adding extra touches that I did not even pay for that day. I was very last minute planning my flowers and finding a place to cater to my wedding with only a few months left before the date I was wed. Overall, a 5 star place. Let me start by saying; Joy is a floral genius. She's Pinterest meets anthropology. Ryan and I got married five years ago and we were finally able to put our dream wedding celebration together this past May 14, 2016 at The Old Field Club, East Setauket. I have not stopped calling it "The Best Day Ever!" There are many factors that added into this day and the most important decision we made was to hire Joy as our floral vendor.

We've been using Joy as our florist for any arraignment needs for years. Every arraignment she has made us not only blows us away but the recipient as well. It was an absolute no brainier when we started planning our day to get her on board as our vendor. Joy doesn't just take you on as another wedding. She meets with you and gives you her undivided attention. She gets to know you and what you like, your style and who you are as an individual and as a couple. She is warm and friendly and has a genuine heart of gold. She pours her heart and soul into every job she does and it becomes a work of art!

When Ryan and I met with her she took her time, took detailed notes and dreamed with us. She spent close to two hours looking at photos, talking and helping show us pieces. She even met with me individually a second time to confirm plans. When the day came I was beyond excited to see what she had done. There is barely a word to explain what I felt when I saw mine and my bridesmaids bouquets and that was just the start. I cried tears of joy (literally!) at how gorgeous they looked. They came out exactly as I visioned. When I walked down the isle and saw the cross my Father in love made Ryan and I, adorned with lace, vines and flowers I was blown away. I felt honored that she took that piece and dressed it so gorgeously. When we had opportunity to see our reception room, cocktail hour and escort card station we again were blown away. Joy went above and beyond what I expected. She made me three different style centerpieces and each one was given the utmost attention and care. She ran with me on a vision of old candelabras I found and used the exact color pallet I was looking for and hit the nail on the head with ever detail. I could not believe how gorgeous she made our tables look. When I say Joy pours her heart and soul into what she does, allow me to elaborate. Ryan and I had a brunch wedding, which meant a very early set up. Joy and her husband Kevin (the dream team!) arrived there early in the morning and worked hard to set up for a 10:30 am guest arrival. She showed up before the venues employees arrived; that alone speaks volumes. Joy, not only worried about my flowers but helped tablescape each one . She took the numerous pieces of candle votive decor I had and helped set them up on each of our 15 tables. She came fully stocked with extra flowers and tools to add detail where needed. When guest came into our room the wording and compliments were "extraordinary," "Pinterest worthy," "stunning" and "classy." Those comments would not have come without Joys gorgeous work being part of our "Best Day Ever." If you are looking for the wedding of your dreams I could not recommend a better florist vendor. Your wedding is not just a job to her but a work of art. It becomes a blank canvas for her and she paints a stunning picture. Joy, Ryan and I can't thank you enough for being a part of our day. You simply went above and beyond and created exactly what I wanted. You are creatively gifted, talented, and you treat each wedding with an immense amount of detail. I look forward to years of gorgeous flowers and pieces for future events. Thank you sincerely from the bottom of hearts. You took our dream ideas ran with it and hit a home run. You, Kevin and Karen are truly one of a kind and make every event you do the most important job. Brides if you are looking for a floral vendor I could not speak better words or give more praise about Elegant Designs By Joy. They are incredible and will work hard to make your day beautiful and "The Best Day Ever." A million heartfelt thank you's for all your hard work to make our day incredible. You created our "Pinterest" board wedding but added all the unique elements into it to make it work for Ryan and I. Thank you simply isn't enough! We love you Joy and are so happy with all you did.

On a scale of 1-10 my rating is a 100 for Elegant Designs by Joy. It was the most wonderful experience. The team was so helpful in helping this busy bride to pick out an arrangement of flowers from the centerpieces to bouquets for the bridal party. Joy was so easy to work with, very understanding and mellow. It honestly melted my heart, it's just the type of people who are so familiar and lovely. And after she was finished with all the decorations at the venue she took the time and even helped this bride get into her wedding dress and helped her get ready. I am so thankful and grateful for Joy and all of her amazing work. I will be recommending her to everyone I know. It was such a pleasure to work with her. And I look forward to many more encounters with them in the future.
